I'm Mike Roberts, and together with my family, we've created a place that's more than just a venue; it's a vibrant experience. Born from a lighthearted joke, The Horse's Axe has grown into a beloved community staple with locations in Denton, McKinney, and Denison.
What started as a casual idea has now blossomed into a thriving business that offers not just exhilarating axe throwing but also a pool, an impressive selection of drinks, and very soon, delicious food. Our journey hasn't been without its challenges, especially with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, through innovation and a deep commitment to our community's safety, we've pioneered unique solutions like providing individual axes for customers to keep, ensuring everyone can have fun without compromise.
At The Horse's Axe, our goal is to create a welcoming and engaging atmosphere where every corner brings a smile and maybe even a chuckle with our love for puns. We're continuously evolving based on what our guests tell us, from adding community axes to expanding our variety of axe styles to enhance your experience.
Though I started with no real background in axe throwing, the joy and enthusiasm of our visitors have been my greatest teachers. Today, The Horse’s Axe is not just a business but a place where families, friends, and strangers gather to create memorable experiences, raise a glass, and enjoy great company.
